Abstract Submission Guidelines - ISC 2026
The Organizing Committee of ISC 2026 cordially invites researchers, industry professionals, academicians, technologists, policy makers, and innovators to submit abstracts for presentation at the conference.
All abstracts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format, using Times Roman, font size 12, and should not exceed 500 words. The abstract should clearly state the objective, methodology, key findings, and practical or scientific significance of the work.
The last date for abstract submission is July 31, 2026. Early submission is highly encouraged to facilitate timely review and communication.
Conference Theme
“Next Gen Technologies & Innovations for Future-Proofing the Sugar Industry”
Submissions should focus on innovative solutions, research advancements, and transformative technologies that strengthen the sustainability, productivity, efficiency, and resilience of the sugar industry. Suggested areas include, but are not limited to:
- Digital transformation and automation in sugar processing
- Artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing
- Sustainable production and environmental management
- Bioenergy, by-products, and value addition
- Climate-resilient sugarcane cultivation
- Process optimization and energy efficiency
- Circular economy practices in the sugar sector
Interdisciplinary research and industry case studies that demonstrate measurable impact and scalability are particularly encouraged.
Publication Opportunity
A number of high-quality and selected full papers will be considered for publication in Sugar Tech, an internationally recognized journal published by Springer Nature, subject to the journal’s peer-review process and editorial standards. Authors whose abstracts are accepted will receive detailed instructions regarding full paper submission and formatting requirements.
Review Process
All submitted abstracts will undergo a review process by the Scientific Committee based on:
- Relevance to the conference theme
- Originality and innovation
- Technical quality and clarity
- Practical and industrial applicability
Authors will be notified regarding acceptance, presentation format (oral/poster), and further guidelines within the stipulated timeline.
