The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite nominations for the following prestigious awards to be conferred during ISC 2026. These awards recognize excellence, innovation, research, service, and leadership in the global sugar and bio-energy sector.
I. Thematic Award Categories
Applications are invited under the following focus areas:

II. Industry Excellence Award (Instituted by IAPSIT) For Sugar & Bio-energy Industries / Organizations
This award recognizes outstanding institutional contributions and operational excellence in the sugar and allied sectors.
III. Life Time Achievement Award (Instituted by IAPSIT–SSRP) For Individual Contributions (One award in each category)

- Climate-Smart Technology
- Product Development & Innovation
- Gene Editing Research / Biotechnology
IV. Life Time Service Award (Instituted by IAPSIT)
- Sugar Industry (2 Awards)
- Sugarcane & Sugar Research Institutes (2 Awards)
Recognizing exceptional long-term service and dedication to the sector.
V. Award of Academic Excellence (Instituted by SSRP)
- Highest Cited Research Paper in Sugar Tech (Springer), 2024-25.
- Women Scientist / Entrepreneur Award
VI. Productivity Award – Progressive Sugarcane Farmer (Instituted by SSRP)
Awarded to a progressive farmer demonstrating exceptional productivity, innovation, and sustainable cultivation practices.
VII. SSRP Fellow Awards (4 Awards)
Conferred upon distinguished professionals in recognition of their scholarly and technical contributions to the sugar sector.
